In this “summer of service” our president has called on all Americans to work together and participate in our nation’s recovery and renewal by serving in our local communities. United We Serve (http://www.serve.gov/) is an opportunity for us to answer that call. From June 22 to September 11 (and beyond!) we can address local community needs in education, health, energy and the environment, and community renewal.
