Hello, I was an internet bookseller that went out of business due to high 3rd party fees. I’ve still got a few thousand books that I have been trying to get rid of at yardsales. Many of the books are too good for Goodwill, etc. I live in Wisconsin near Madison. Do you have a donation site near Madison?
Dear Robert, No and I wish I did! Depending on what kind of books you have, the Boys and Girls Clubs are a great place to donate. Also, if the books are NEW, you might consider the Kids Wish Network (this is not the same as the Make a Wish Foundation). We have donated to Kids Wish Network and they are wonderful to deal with. Toys for Tots is another option for NEW books. For adult fiction and non-fiction you can try the local senior centers. We also work with several local libraries who hold used book sales and then the libarry uses the money for kids programs, new books, site improvements, etc. Hope this helps! Susan
