This week, William Penn High School in Colonial School District donated approximately 3,000 children’s books to Success Won’t Wait. Our loyal volunteers, Mace and Jacob, along with Success Won’t Wait co-founder Vincenza Carrieri-Russo (pictured), handled the “heavy lifting.” Throughout the summer, the trio will also sort through the books and allocate them for eventual distribution to local schools, afterschool programs, and non-profits in need.
In addition, many of these books will be available free to the public at Ice Cream Delight on National Ice Cream Day, which is Sunday July 21! Ice Cream Delight is located at 1 Ice Cream Drive, Wilmington, DE 19810 (behind the Marsh Triangle off of Marsh Road).
Many thanks to William Penn High school for helping us share these books with kids throughout Delaware and the tri-state region!
