Summer is almost here and your family’s summer adventure begins at… the public library! Now in its 45th year, the annual Summer Library Reading Program is eagerly anticipated by children and parents alike.
The program offers participants the opportunity to learn over the summer break in a fun way, while sharpening literacy skills. It also provides encouragement for reluctant readers and fosters a lifelong passion for reading.
Download a reading log to get started. Then simply cross out a symbol for each 15 minutes you read. Each row = 1 hour! It’s that easy.
