When City National Bank contacted us about hosting a book drive in honor of National Book Month we were excited! After all, this is a group of highly motivated people with a demonstrated commitment to the community since 1954.
And the City National book drive yielded incredible pre-K – 8th grade children’s books — over 100 of them! These books will be used for many of Success Won’t Wait’s ongoing literacy projects including refilling Little Free Libraries across the state, replenishing “take one” sites such as the Claymont Community Center, and continuing to support the Pottstown NAACP’s children’s book giveaway events.
A big thank you goes to Rebecca Setting of City National for coordinating the book drive, as well as to the entire City National team. It is through donations like this that Success Won’t Wait is able to continue its mission to encourage reading and provide books to those who need them most!
