November 18 is National High Five a Librarian Day (and yes, it is a real thing). This day of celebration is the brainchild of Cincinnati librarian Steve Kemble.

At Success Won’t Wait, one of our favorite librarians is Mychal Threets, supervising librarian at Solano County Library (California). If you haven’t heard of Mychal, in recent years he has captured the hearts of thousands online with his viral TikTok videos and Instagram reels, recounting touching anecdotes and teachable moments from his day-to-day library interactions. His goal of “spreading library joy” is definitely something we here at Success Won’t Wait can relate to!

So, if you are headed to the library today (or any day) please be sure to let your favorite librarians know how appreciated they are. If you can’t make it in person, a virtual high five will work too!
