In addition to donations of gently used books, Success Won’t Wait often works directly with publishers and even authors to obtain brand new books for a variety of literacy initiatives. Such was the case this week when we were contacted by Natalie Griffith regarding the estate of her aunt, the prolific children’s book author Helen V. Griffith.

Sadly, Helen recently passed away. But she is still making a positive impact on Delaware’s children through her family’s generous donation of hundreds of new books. Helen’s many, many titles, published by Greenwillow, run the gamut of ages and topics.

A most sincere thank you goes to Helen’s family for these wonderful books, which will help Success Won’t Wait fulfill some of the many requests received during the busy holiday season.
