At Success Won’t Wait, we’re so grateful for your continued book donations — and since we started in 2002, we’ve often been asked, “Where do all of these books actually go?” The answer is… just about everywhere!
Thanks to our generous donors, the books we collect are making a real impact in the community, not only in Delaware, but across the nation, and sometimes, even around the world. Here are just a few recent examples of local events, which were all organized by The Pottstown NAACP:
On April 25, the YMCA Health Fair offered a wonderful opportunity for children to pick out free books to take home. Alongside healthy snacks and valuable health resources, the book giveaway helped promote wellness of both body and mind.
Another recent event was the “Road to Reading” Easter event, which saw over 100 books fly off the tables in just over an hour — a true testament to the power of reading and community engagement.
And the support doesn’t stop there. The NAACP also continues to distribute books to local schools, including the Pottstown School District and Family Services, helping to build strong literacy foundations where they’re needed most.
Your donations matter — and they’re making a difference every day!
