It’s no secret that here at Success Won’t Wait, we love the Little Free Library concept. The mission, “a book for every reader” dovetails so neatly with our own that we’ve supported the organization for many years. And now, during Little Free Library Week, we are excited to announce that Success Won’t Wait has joined Little Free Libraries, sponsoring a new “bring one take one” library box in Delaware!

Hosting our own library box will allow Success Won’t Wait to interact directly with the community in a whole new way. In addition to our large-scale donations to organizations and groups in the area, the new Success Won’t Wait library box will help us reach the local families directly.

The new box will be housed at nearby Ice Cream Delight (1 Ice Cream Drive, Wilmington, DE 19810), which is adjacent to our office, and will contain children’s books for all ages, as well as books for teens and adults.

Please check back in the next few weeks for a “go live” date.

In the meanwhile, please help us celebrate Little Free Library Week, which honors the organization’s birthday! Little Free Library launched their journey to make books accessible to everyone on May 17, 2012. Here are a few ways you can get involved:

Submit Your Favorite Photos: Share photos of you and your favorite Little Free Library book-sharing box! Submit your photos by using the hashtag #LFLweek on social media to be eligible for prizes.   

Share a Book: Celebrate by sharing a book in a Little Free Library! This simple act can spread joy and spark a love of reading. Find a book-sharing box near you by downloading the free Little Free Library mobile app. 

Make a Gift: Your gift to Little Free Library supports the group’s mission to be a catalyst for building community, inspiring readers, and expanding book access for all through a global network of volunteer-led Little Free Libraries. Donation info here!
