Afterschool opportunities keep children safe, enhance their social skills and decision-making abilities, and help parents maintain their jobs and increase productivity at work.

But, finding high quality afterschool programs for your child can feel overwhelming.

In fact, according to the Delaware Afterschool Network (DEAN), “…a household survey commissioned by the Afterschool Alliance (released in November 2024), four out of five Delaware parents who desire afterschool programs for their children are unable to enroll them. This is often due to the programs being too expensive, unavailable, or inaccessible.”

Luckily, there is help for Delaware parents.

The Delaware 211 Out of School Program Library is now available to help parents find the best, most affordable opportunities for kids statewide. (Currently, most of the current programs are geared towards middle-school students. However, new partner organizations are being added on an ongoing basis for all K-12 students.)

Developed by DEAN, the Out of School Program Library designed to help make the search for afterschool, evening, weekend, summer, and school break programs easy and stress-free.
