Without the support of incredible corporate partners, Success Won’t Wait could not continue to operate or fulfill its mission to eradicate illiteracy. So today, we’d like to shine a spotlight on V&M Bistro in Wilmington, Delaware, which has supported our literacy mission since the restaurant opened its doors 11 years ago!

Over the years, V&M Bistro has done so much. And this holiday season, they’ve stepped in to help Success Won’t Wait again.

The popular restaurant and bar hosts a highly anticipated holiday party each December. And this year, the event has an added twist. In addition to cocktails, music and merriment, V&M is sponsoring a special giveaway. Patrons are asked to bring in a new or gently used children’s book to earn an entry for a V&M Bistro gift card!

To promote the partnership, V&M’s Hilary Newman (pictured) created a beautiful Christmas “tree” made of – you guessed it – books from Success Won’t Wait’s collection! The tree will be displayed in the V&M lobby throughout the holiday season. All books collected through this book drive will be used for Success Won’t Wait’s ongoing partnership with the nearby Claymont Community Center.
