Success Won’t Wait co-founder Susan McNeill with just a few of the 300+ books donated to the CCC.
The Little Free Library at the Claymont Community Center (CCC) continues to be a vibrant hub for local readers! Originally established by the dedicated women of the Delta Sigma Theta sorority, these shelves have become a beloved staple for the many families who visit the always popular CCC.
To kick off National Read Across America Day, Success Won’t Wait volunteers completed a major restock, adding more than 300 fresh titles.

What is National Read Across America Day? This special event was established in 1998 by the National Education Association (NEA) to encourage children of all ages to read. The annual date, March 2, honors the birthday of beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss, whose playful, zany stories have helped generations of children fall in love with reading.
So, while we made sure to include plenty of Dr. Seuss titles in this donation, there are also books for every age, from pre-K through young adult. Claymont, the shelves are full and waiting for you. Happy reading!
