Thanks to the vision of New Castle County Council President Monique Williams-Johns, in March 2025, Success Won’t Wait installed a mini-library in the lounge area of the New Castle County building at Read’s Way. This building serves as the central hub for government operations, business affairs and essential services within New Castle County, Delaware.    

The mini library was designed to be more than just a collection of books. Instead, it was envisioned as a symbol of the county’s commitment to the well-being of its workforce.

Through the year, the library has been restocked the popular attraction, as needed. And this week, the space got a major boost, thanks to a generous donation of additional bookshelves by State Representative Frank D. Cooke, Jr.

The expanded space made it possible to add even more books tailored to the diverse interests of the on-site county employees, from self-help, to finance and investing, biographies, fiction, travel, decorating, crafts, sports, history and cooking. 

“By fostering a culture of reading and learning, we believe that this initiative will have a lasting positive impact on our employees,” says Williams-Johns.
