In the fall of 2003, we were contacted by Lutheran Hope House in November 2006 with a request for new or like-new books that the staff could give to the children. In December we organized a donation of 150 holiday books which we signed “from Santa.” They were later wrapped and donated for a student holiday party. The Lutheran Hope House runs a government subsidized, non-denominational pre-school for low income families.
