On October 25, 2008, National Make a Difference Day, Success Won’t Wait volunteers installed approximately 600 books at the Family Resource Center of A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children.

For weeks, volunteers sorted through our collection of new and gently used books for the perfect additions to the space. The Family Resource Center was designed for families of critically ill children and includes a relaxation spot, a kitchen, and even sleeping quarters.

This newly stocked library area now offers families a much needed respite from the stress and worry of having a hospitalized child.
