Exciting news! Yesterday, I opened the mailbox to find that we have received our official 501c3 status from the IRS. This means that contributions to the organization are now tax deductible under section 170 of the Code (this has been a sticking point for many potential donors). It also means that we can now accept monetary donations, which will enable us to complete even more projects and expand our geographic  range!

A huge thank you to the law firm of Pepper Hamilton for handling the application process. As well, thank you to the Success Won’t Wait Board of Directors — Vincenza Carrieri-Russo, Paul Pomeroy, Jr., Beverly Stewart, Italo Carrieri-Russo and Susan McNeill — for continuing to pursue this goal over the years.
