She joined over 100 other middle school and high school state recipients at a four-day awards celebration sponsored by Prudential for the Prudential Spirit of Community national awards.

While in Washington, Ashley educated other honorees about the Success Won’t Wait program, toured the beautiful city, and enjoyed incredible speakers like Condolezza Rice.

Ashley also learned lots from other representatives to bring back to Success Won’t Wait. The range of projects that other state honorees has tackled was nothing short of amazing — from homelessness, to hunger, to housing.

Many thanks to Prudential for the recognition of our program and our great volunteer! To learn more about the Prudential Spirit of Community or to nominate a deserving middle of high school volunteer, please visit Prudential Spirit of Community.
