The Duel on the Delaware is our largest annual book drive. This amazing event enables us to collect enough books to sustain our various programs throughout the entire year.

In fact, the event has gotten so large (one year we collected over 14,000 lbs. of books!) that the teams have started to drop off their donations in advance of the actual event.

Our first team to “weigh in” is team 375, moderated by Mr. Charlie Affel. Charlie arrived at the Success Won’t Wait offices with a horse trailer filled to bursting with wonderful books.

I won’t give you the weigh in amount and spoil the surprise, since this is a competition.  Just check back after October 16 for a full listing of team amounts. Or better yet, visit us at Salem County Community College and enjoy this great event!
