Some of our youngest volunteers, the Wood sisters Chamaine, Jazmine and Kayleigh, visited Harlan Elementary today with a book donation for the school.  School librarian Deborah Mullikin was there to meet them, show them the school library and talk about future projects.

Harlan Elementary is a Title 1 school in the Brandywine School District, located in the city of Wilmington. Teachers at Harlan are dedicated to helping each student reach their reading potential as well as encouraging their imagination and enjoyment of the printed text — and we want to help! At the suggestion of Ms. Mullikin, another donation of several hundred more books (to be used as giveaways) is planned within the next few months, so stay tuned.
