The students at H.B. duPont Middle School recently received their third delivery of books to be recycled through Success Won’t Wait’s Naked Book Project.

Each delivery includes several hundred pounds of books that must be divested of their covers (rendering them “naked”). Then the students can recycle them through Abitibi Retriever, with the proceeds going to fund school programs.

The project was conceived by Sarah Brady, the mentor for the school’s Student Council.

The latest delivery pushes the projects total to over 9,000 lbs. recycled!
