Back in April 2009, two enterprising students started Success Won’t Wait’s Naked Book Program. Today, that program has donated over 12,500 lbs. of paper to local schools’ paper drives in the form of unusable books.
These are books that would otherwise have been relegated to a landfill!
Throughout the school year Student Council members at H.B. DuPont Middle School (one of the recipients of the donated paper) handle the day-to-day recycling efforts. However once school lets out, that responsibility falls squarely on the shoulders of the organizers. Throughout the summer, Ashley Rose McNeill and Elizabeth Gonye, will handle several tons (literally!) of paper.

Elizabeth Gonye, with the assistance of longtime Success Won’t Wait volunteer Christine McNeill, got started with the first truckload this week!
