Earlier this week, we made our third major book donation to support the Friends of the Wilmington Public Library! Our total now tops 3,000 books provided to the group, which supports the services of the Wilmington Public Library in Delaware.

If you are not familiar with the Friends Group, they do so much for the library, including:

  • Providing new equipment for the Library,
  • Providing new books and audio-visual materials for public use,
  • Contributing 1,800 hours annually of volunteer time for improved Library Services.
  • Paying for Literacy Volunteers of America students and tutors to attend national conferences, and
  • Supporting the Library’s “Focus on Quality” Capital/Endowment Campaigns.

The group is able to operate all of these great programs throughout ongoing fundraising efforts, including a semi-annual book sale. The books that Success Won’t Wait has donated – from self-help, to crafts, to cooking – will help fund the ongoing maintenance and expansion of the Library and its programs.

The 2014 Annual Book Sale is coming up soon!

  • Saturday, October 11, 10AM – 4PM
  • Sunday October 12, 1PM – 4PM
