Long-time Success Won’t Wait volunteer Claire Gonye sorts and categorizes hundreds of books destined for Camden, NJ schools.

Success Won’t Wait volunteer Christine McNeill recently began an exciting new project to help the K-12th grade schools of Camden County, NJ. Her goal is to donate 10,000 books to the various schools in the county for in-classroom mini libraries, as well as  school library expansions.

Christine can’t do it alone, however. So, she has enlisted the help of several longtime volunteers to help her reach her goal, including Claire Gonye. Claire has volunteered for Success Won’t Wait for over 10 years and has worked on dozens of projects, attended events like the Winterthur Point-to-Point Steeplechase book giveaway, and helped man the annual Duel on the Delaware book drive.

For this project, Claire has been busy sorting through donations so that each teacher, in each grade, in each school receives just the right books for that classroom!

Pictured here is Claire with just a few of the hundreds of books she has already categorized and which are now awaiting delivery. But, we need more!
