Earlier this week, Success Won’t Wait donated 750 books to the Friends of the Wilmington, Delaware Library, bringing our project total to an impressive 11,250 books since 2015!
The group’s Used Bookshop is located on the first floor of the Wilmington Library at 10th & Market Sts. in Wilmington, Delaware. At the shop, you will find a wide variety of books, CDs, tapes, records and books on tape available. Selections change daily and are offered at tremendous savings: $1.00 for most hardback books and $0.50 for paperbacks. The Used Bookshop is open during library hours.
Proceeds from the sales at the Used Bookshop are used for:
- equipment for the Wilmington Library,
- books and audio-visual materials for public use,
- expenses for Literacy Volunteers of America students and tutors to attend national conferences,
- publicity for Library events and advocacy for Library services, and ‘
- major funding in support of the Library’s “Focus on Quality” Capital/Endowment Campaigns.
