Each year, the volunteers at Success Won’t Wait look forward to the Winterthur Point-to-Point Steeplechase “Fun Hunt.” This is our opportunity to share information about Success Won’t Wait and its mission with thousands of families, as well as give away hundreds of children’s books.

This year, we were joined by longtime literacy partner Back to Basics Learning Dynamics, linked in a common question to encourage reading by children and, one day, eradicate illiteracy! Since 2002, Back to Basics has been integral to the success of our mission — as a book basket recipient, as the host of numerous book drives, as a volunteer organization for annual “I Love to Read Month” events, and this year, as the Platinum Sponsor of the Point-to-Point book giveaway.

Together, Success Won’t Wait and Back to Basics Learning Dynamics worked to make the event a huge success. Our volunteers gave away over 700 children’s books and made dozens of contacts for upcoming events and book donations!
