First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April. It is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation’s libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support.

And, to celebrate, Success Won’t Wait is giving away books… a lot of books!

This week, Success Won’t Wait once again supported the Friends of the Wilmington Library with a 1000 book donation. Our total donated to this group now tops 17,350 books!

The books donated by Success Won’t Wait will be sold at the semi annual Used Book Sale held by the Library in the spring. In addition to the books provided by Success Won’t Wait, thousands of books and audio visual materials will be available for sale. Items are generally priced from between .50 -$2.00. The sale benefits the Friends of Wilmington Library.

For more information about the Used Book Sale, the group, and all they do for the community, please visit Friends of the Wilmington Public Library or call (302)-571-7407.
