Since its founding in 2002, Success Won’t Wait has been privileged to work with many outstanding volunteers. These volunteers commit an extraordinary number of hours toward furthering the SWW mission — and often through the plain, hard work of sorting, repairing and labeling thousands of books.

One of these longtime volunteers is David Preziuso. David, a sophomore at Caravel Academy, has been a volunteer for many years and has pitched, organized and run numerous books drives, collecting thousands of books for the community.

So, we are pleased to announce that this outstanding volunteer has been recognized with the President’s Volunteer Service Award for completing over 100 community service hours in a single year!

The President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation, established in 2003, created the President’s Volunteer Service Award program as a way to thank and honor Americans who, by their demonstrated commitment and example, inspire others to engage in volunteer service.
