At Success Won’t Wait, helping teachers build in-classroom libraries is one of our primary goals. And, we know that setting up a classroom for the very first time can be a challenging – and pricey – endeavor. So, when we were contacted by newly minted University of Delaware graduate and brand new teacher Alyson Galgano, pictured, we knew we had to help.

Alyson is a 7th grade ELA teacher at Everett Meredith Middle School in Appoquinimink School District, Delaware… with very few books. She had a diverse list of “wish list” of titles that would appeal to a wide range of student interests and reading levels. So, this summer, our volunteers got busy and collected several hundred books for her classroom, so her students could start off 7th grade right.
