Success Won’t Wait Donates Hundreds of Books for Meet the Teacher Night

Danya small“Back to School” in 2021 looks like nothing we’ve ever seen before. But incredible teachers and administrators such as Danya Tiara Woods, Ed.D., the Assistant Principal at Richardson Park Elementary School in Wilmington, Delaware (pictured left), are making it the best it can possibly be! One great example is Richardson Park’s recent Meet the Teacher Night.

Traditionally, Meet the Teacher Night is the best way for students to ease back into the school year. And, this year, it was made even more special with the addition of local community groups, giveaways for the kids, important information for parents and caregivers, and of course, free books provided by Success Won’t Wait. Over 200 students and parents participated!

Meet the Teacher Night is just one example of the incredible work being done at the school. Richardson Park is a K-5 elementary school in the Red Clay Consolidated School District with a mission to reach all learners by offering a safe and positive school community.  The school’s faculty, administrators and employees strive to motivate, engage, and support all who come through their doors and are committed to developing high academic and social-emotional growth. Many thanks go to Danya Tiara Woods, Ed.D. for coordinating the event and including Success Won’t Wait. Thank you, too, to the Success Won’t Wait volunteers who helped find just the right books for the giveaway. Here’s a great school year!
