Success Won’t Wait literacy volunteer Natalie Hines wins 2011 Hockessin-Greenville Rotary Scholarship for community service!

Congratulations to Success Won’t Wait volunteer Natalie Hines. Natalie is the winner of the 2011 Hockessin-Greenville Rotary Scholarship!

Every year, the Hockessin-Greenville Rotary awards two $1,000 per year cash scholarships to graduating high school seniors who enroll full time in college. The scholarship criteria includes:

  • residence in the Hockessin, Pike Creek, Greenville, Centreville area
  • may not related to a Rotarian
  • performs community service work
  • participates in extracurricular activities
  • has high academic accomplishments
  • is recognized for outstanding achievement

Today, there are more than 28,000 Rotary clubs in 155 countries around the world.  Nearly 1.2 million business and professional men and women constitute the membership of these clubs.  They share the purposes of providing humanitarian service, encouraging high ethical standards in all vocations, and building good will and peace in the world.  They give life to the Rotary motto, Service Above Self.
