Success Won’t Wait donates 200+ children’s books to Harlem Dowling-West Side Center for Children and Family Services

Harlem DowlingSuccess Won’t Wait was recently teamed up with the Garden of Dreams Foundation. If you are not familiar with the group, the Garden of Dreams is a 501c3 non-profit charity that works closely with all areas of The Madison Square Garden Company, including the New York Knicks, Rangers, Liberty, MSG Media, MSG Entertainment and Fuse “to make dreams come true for kids facing obstacles.”

Together we have sent 100+ children’s books to the Flatlands Family Center in Brooklyn, NY, as well as 100+ books to PATH, a part of the New York Department of Homeless Services.

Yesterday, we completed our third project — 200+ K-12 children’s books for Harlem Dowling-West Side Center for Children and Family Services! As a not-for-profit child-welfare agency, the mission of Harlem Dowling-West Side Center for Children and Family Services is to serve and assist children and their families in crisis and distress. Their services include foster care, adoption, preventive services and related assistance to children and their families.

Many thanks to the Garden of Dreams for helping us coordinate the book donation and for providing shipping!

  1. Do you accept Reader’s Digest Condensed books? My 86 year old mother has hundreds of them, all in excellent condition. We live in GA and could not afford to mail books to you; any suggestions as to what we can do with them.
