With the annual Used Book Sale now just a memory (it was held January 26, 2014) the Friends of the Hockessin Library are busy getting ready for the 2015 sale. And, that means more books!
Today, we were happy to oblige with a donation of 500 books for the group, out first donation for 2014.
If you are not familiar with the Friends of the Hockessin Library, the group holds an annual Used Book Sale each January which raises much-needed funds for library programs. At the sale, you can buy almost any type of book — from children’s books, to cookbooks, to popular novels, and much more. Each year approximately 70,000 books are available for purchase.
The annual sale benefits the library, library programming, book and technology replenishment, and much more. For more information on the group and the annual Used Book Sale, please visit Friends of the Hockessin Library.
