Today, Success Won’t Wait volunteers donated 750+ books to the Friends of the Hockessin Library. Combined with our donations throughout the year, our total for 2014 now tops 7,500 books! Our largest donation to the group in our 12 year history is 8,000 books in one year — and we are confident that we will be able to exceed that in 2014!

What do the Friends of the Hockessin Library do with all those books? They hold the annual Friends of the Hockessin Library Used Book Sale, of course!

If you’re not familiar with the event, the Friends of the Hockessin Library Used Book Sale is just around the corner. The event is held each January and raises much-needed funds for library programs. At the sale, you can buy almost any type of book — from children’s books, to cookbooks, to popular novels, and so much more. Each year approximately 70,000 books are available for purchase.

The annual sale benefits the library and library programs, as well as ongoing book and technology replenishment. For more information about the annual Used Book Sale, please visit Friends of the Hockessin Library.
