This week (October 16-22, 2016) marks National Friends of Libraries Week. And, Success Won’t Wait is celebrating with a donation to one of our favorite local libraries — the Wilmington Public Library!
In addition to the 1000 books provided by Success Won’t Wait, thousands of books and audio visual materials will be available for sale. Items are generally priced from between .50 -$2.00. The sale benefits the Friends of Wilmington Library.
Proceeds from the Used Book Sale are used for:
- equipment for the Wilmington Library,
- books and audio-visual materials for public use,
- expenses for Literacy Volunteers of America students and tutors to attend national conferences,
- publicity for Library events and advocacy for Library services, and
- major funding in support of the Library’s “Focus on Quality” Capital/Endowment Campaigns.
