At Success Won’t Wait, we are so proud of all of our volunteers for their hard work and dedication. In fact, we’ve had some truly exceptional volunteers over the years, who have even been recognized for community service awards, such as the Governor’s Outstanding Volunteer Service Award! This award recognizes Delaware’s most outstanding volunteers for service to our communities. Since many of these achievements are made through the efforts of typically “unsung heroes,” recognition of their work is even more important. Now, you can nominate someone who is doing good in Delaware for this year’s award.

According to Volunteer Delaware, “The Governor’s Volunteer Service Award honors the true spirit of volunteerism by recognizing individuals, groups and businesses that make a significant contribution to their community through volunteer service.” Everyone is encouraged to nominate an outstanding volunteer who has demonstrated commitment to meeting Delaware’s most pressing human and/or environmental community needs.
