This week, Success Won’t Wait volunteers focused on New Castle County seniors and created the first bring-one-take-one mini library at the DeLaWarr Senior Center. Located in New Castle, Delaware, right outside the city limits Wilmington, the senior center is open to anyone 50+, Monday thru Thursday. 

The DeLaWarr Senior Center offers diverse activities from line dancing to crafts, local trips to Bingo, card games, fitness classes, and more. And now, an onsite mini library truly makes this a one-stop activity hub for local residents.

“As part of the Rose Hill Community Center complex, the DeLaWarr Senior Center is a haven of services and opportunities for a growing community,” says New Castle County Council President Monique Williams-Johns. “We hope that the addition of this diverse selection of books, easily accessible on-site, will encourage reading through the long days of summer, and beyond.”
