On July 2005, Delaware literacy association Success Won’t Wait, Inc. donated 1,000 children’s books to the Delaware Foster Grandparent Program. Established in 1967, the Delaware Foster Grandparent Program currently works with over 200 Foster Grandparents statewide who participate in day care, schools, Head Starts, and detention centers.

After reading a news item that stated the Delaware Foster Grandparent Program was in urgent need of books for small children, we knew we could help. After combing through our warehouse of books, we were able to cull 1,000 that perfectly suited children ages 1 to 6.
