Every so often, we hear from a dedicated teacher who consistently goes the extra mile for his or her students. A great example is Anna Smith. Anna graduated just a few weeks ago from the University of Delaware with a degree in Elementary Education and Middle School English. And, this fall she will be teaching in her very first classroom at Elkton Middle School in Cecil County Public Schools!

Since teachers often pay for classroom supplies, such as books, from their own pockets, we knew we needed to help. So, this week we met with Anna and provided 75 books for her students. Looks like it’s going to be a great school year!
